Our technology will enhance the driver’s spatial awareness of their surrounding environment by warning the driver of hard-to-see objects detected by on-board sensors, as well as delivering a more intuitive navigation experience.

As the human race evolved, our ears have acted as 360-degree protection radar. We react almost instinctively to noises of different nature, a reaction which is way faster than to vision. Noveto Smart Audio® can deliver directional sound alerts directly and solely to the driver, minimizing the driver’s reaction time to hazards.

The vehicle creates by itself significant sound pollution; one clear example is navigation instructions. These vocal alerts can be very annoying; moreover there is no reason why all passengers of the vehicle should be exposed to such, especially if they are using a taxi or an Uber of any sort. In addition, the capability to send navigation instructions in a directional manner (imagine getting an instruction to turn right only to your right ear) is an added feature to further assist the driver in reaching the desired destination.

Today more than 25% of traffic accidents are mobile phone related. Drivers are looking at their screen and view WhatsApp and other messages. The reason is that people fear to miss out and feel “out of the loop”, a phenomenon known as “FOMO”. No one would even consider using off-the-shelf text to speech engines, as your content will be played out loud via the car’s infotainment system, letting everyone hear it. But what if these notifications can be read out only to the dedicated user… in his ear? Wouldn’t this be great?
